The day is upon us

Today, April 2nd, it will become a crime against the State for the owners of privately run businesses to allow their customers to smoke. There is no bone in my body which can begin to understand how such a thing can be justified.

May I extend my gratitude to all those well-to-do MPs and AMs who took it upon themselves to debauch the principles of tolerance, freedom of choice, property rights and localism in the name of hysterical science and dictatorial puritanism.

I implore all those people who so vociferously support this legislation to read an obscure little novel, published in 1932, of the title Brave New World. You need to.

You need to watch your love one die of lung cancer, then you will understand.
